Additional support sessions after assessment

A feedback session, where we discuss the results of your assessment, is included in the assessment packages above. However, if you would like follow-up support to explore your assessment results after this appointment, up to four extra follow-up sessions can be provided.. 

  • A 50 minute appointment costs $220. 
  • With a valid Mental Health Care Plan, Medicare will rebate $93.35 per session, leaving a $126.65 out of pocket cost. 
  • If a Medicare rebate is not claimed, Private Health Insurers may provide a rebate, please check with your provider.
  • The recommended cost of a 46-60 minute consultation by the  Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi) is currently $300. In order to make support more affordable, our fees are significantly lower than the recommended rate.

Cancellation Policy

Assessments require significant time to be allocated to each client, and the amount of preparation required for each appointment means that sessions are difficult to fill if there is a late cancellation. For this reason, the following policy applies:

  • If more than 48 business hours is given, an appointment can be rescheduled without a fee. Please note that this means that a request to reschedule a Monday 9am appointment must be made by 9am the previous Thursday, and changes to Tuesday appointments must be requested by the previous Friday.
  • Late reschedules (less than 48 business hours notice) or failure to attend an initial appointment will incur a fee equivalent to the assessment deposit ($220) made at the time of booking.
  • Late reschedules (less than 48 hours business notice) or failure to attend an assessment, feedback or follow-up appointment will incur a fee equivalent to the current hourly rate of $220, which must be paid before any further appointments are scheduled.
  • This policy can also be found on your consent form, and must be acknowledged in the online booking portal prior to your intake appointment being confirmed.
